    The sandwiches really are great with this device, no cheese spilled and evenly fried. However, I have to deduct points for the quality of the clasp. The device broke for the first time in the first 4 months, I was able to ship it and it was fixed. After almost a year, the device broke again and in exactly the same place. The clasp that holds the two plates together is apparently not very thoughtful, so it breaks off quickly.
    Therefore, I would advise against a new purchase.
