This is my first waffle maker so I don’t really have a comparison. Therefore the rating is more than subjective 😉
First of all, the recipe in the instructions did not work her. I had to add a lot more water so that the dough was somewhat liquid. But it was also my first try. The waffles are thicker than you are used to from “normal” waffle irons, but that is intentional. The baking itself is quick and easy, no overflowing, no re-greasing necessary.

Although the depth is impressive, I found a couple of downsides with this particular model. Firstly, the waffle plates are not removable, making cleaning a bit of a challenge. Additionally, the non-stick coating wasn’t as effective as I had hoped, resulting in some sticking and the occasional broken waffle.
Despite these drawbacks, the Cloer 171 Waffle-Maker still managed to produce decently-shaped and tasty waffles. I appreciate its durability and sturdiness, as it feels like it will last for a long time.
