1 review for Liebherr EWTgb 1683 Black

  1. Hellen

It was my birthday two days ago and it couldn’t be better than a “Wine and Cheese” evening with friends. The wine cooler was obviously the highlight of the program. I haven’t been so proud and happy with my new purchase in a long time.
Everything was going great from delivery, even though the package was very large.
It’s super padded and everything was fine when unpacked. No annoying building together. At first I suspected it smelled chemical, especially like a new fridge, but luckily it didn’t. I put the refrigerator at eye level and filled it directly with 12 bottles of white wine. It looks so good especially with the LED light you can turn on to make it look a little more elegant.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I properly clean and maintain the interior of my Liebherr EWTgb 1683 Black wine cooler to ensure optimal performance and preservation of stored wines?

To keep your Liebherr EWTgb 1683 Black wine cooler in top condition and maximize its performance, regular cleaning and maintenance are essential. Here's how you can do it:

1. Regular Cleaning
- Wipe down the interior shelves, walls, and door gaskets with a soft damp cloth after each use to prevent any buildup of dust or grime. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the surfaces. For stubborn stains or spills, mix a solution of water and mild soap (such as dish detergent) in a bowl, dip a soft cloth into it, and gently clean the affected area. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with a clean towel. If you notice any mold or mildew growth, use a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar to disinfect and eliminate it. Spray the solution onto a soft cloth and wipe down the affected areas. Let it air dry. Cooling Unit Maintenance
- Regularly check the cooling unit's fan and condenser coils for any dirt or debris accumulation. Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to remove them, being careful not to damage the coils. Clean the condensation tray at the bottom of the wine cooler regularly to prevent any buildup of moisture that may lead to mold or mildew growth. Remove it, rinse with water and mild soap solution, and dry before placing it back in its position. Ensure that the unit is leveled correctly to avoid any internal damage due to vibrations. If necessary, use a spirit level to check the horizontal alignment. Adjust the feet at the bottom of the wine cooler accordingly. Bottle Placement
- Store wines horizontally with their labels facing outwards for optimal aging and preservation. This position allows the corks to remain moist, preventing them from drying out and sealing the bottles effectively. Leave enough space between each bottle to allow for air circulation around them. This prevents any humidity buildup that may lead to mold or mildew growth. Temperature Control
- Keep the wine cooler's door closed as much as possible to maintain a consistent temperature inside. Frequent opening and closing of the door may cause fluctuations in temperature, affecting the stored wines' quality. Avoid placing the wine cooler near heat sources such as direct sunlight, ovens, or radiators, as this may affect the cooling unit's performance and lead to premature aging of the wines. By following these cleaning and maintenance tips, you can ensure that your Liebherr EWTgb 1683 Black wine cooler operates efficiently and preserves your stored wines optimally.
