You have to see this gadget to believe it’s possible. When I saw the pictures of this I thought, “This is it.” The idea came from my husband who used to cook in a small home in China and his wife. There are a lot of people who don’t have a microwave but who do have an oven. I’ve never wanted to go to a cooking school but I have a microwave to make my home-cooked meals.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I assemble and operate the Cuisinart ECH4U food processor for the first time?

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to assemble and operate the Cuisinart EC-H4U Food Processor for the first time:
Assembling the Food Processor:
1. First, ensure that all the parts are clean and dry before assembly. Unpack the food processor and remove the following components from the box: the base unit, workbowl with the chopping blade and the lid with the feed tube. Place the workbowl on a flat surface, and then insert the chopping blade into the hole at the bottom of the workbowl. Push down firmly until you hear a click, which indicates that the blade is securely in place. Attach the lid to the workbowl by aligning the lid with the base unit's spindle and then gently push it down so it clicks into place. The feed tube should be on top of the lid. If your food processor came with a dough blade, you can store this in the base unit for later use. Operating the Food Processor:
1. Plug the food processor into an electric outlet and turn it on by pressing the power button located on the front of the base unit. The power button has two settings – ‘OFF’, ‘ON’. Place the workbowl containing your ingredients onto the base unit so that the spindle passes through the hole at the bottom of the workbowl, and you hear a click as it locks into place. If it doesn't lock properly, turn off the power and check that the blade is correctly fitted in the hole. Select the desired speed setting using the two buttons on the front panel - “PULSE/ON” button (on right) for intermittent chopping or continuous processing. The pulse function is ideal when you want finer control over your ingredients, while the ON button is great for longer tasks like grinding nuts or kneading dough. Add the ingredients into the workbowl through the feed tube while the food processor is running. Use caution while feeding ingredients to avoid spills and accidents. Once finished using the food processor, turn off the power, unplug it from the outlet and let it cool down for a few minutes before cleaning it. That's all! Now you know how to assemble and operate your Cuisinart EC-H4U Food Processor.
